Truman Capote, one of the great American writers of our time (or just before), documents the murder of a family in Kansas by some convicts, especially Perry Smith, an introverted and articulate person, as research for his great novel, In Cold Blood.

CapoteCapote’s contact with the convicts causes an attachment which must end in their deaths, and close the novel.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman stars as Capote in Benny Miller’s great movie, for which Hofman won the Oscar for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role. Shot in only 3 days, Capote is a movie which you should not miss.
